OSCF, along with other nine Houston individuals and nonprofits are beneficiaries of grants totaling $100,000 for efforts to further cultural tourism and resilience throughout the City of Houston.
This award will be used to produce the Ethnography of Afro-Venezuelan Music, a multidisciplinary educational conference that includes videos, music, and dance that explore the syncretism of African culture and European religious practices in Venezuela through music.
