Christmas will be filled with the joy and melodious voice of Inés María\, who along with outstanding musicians will make us enjoy the extensive Hispanic Christmas musical tradition. DESCRIPTION:Venezuelan Folk Music Workshop \nVenezuelan violinist\, maraca player\, music teacher\, and music producer Brenda Rengel will offer the Venezuelan Music Workshop in which she presents the most relevant rhythmic and sound characteristics of four genres of Venezuelan popular music: waltz\, joropo\, merengue\, and gaita zuliana. \nTo close the conversation\, the artist will distribute the sheet music of the waltz Linda Mujer and the merengue El Frutero\, two iconic pieces of the Venezuelan popular repertoire\, and will invite the attendees to join in a common song and playing\, which will include two violins\, cuatro\, guitar\, cello\, ukulele and the voices of all the attendees. \nThe activity will be an interactive\, enjoyable\, and joyful experience that will serve to spread the richness of Venezuelan folk music\, promote bonds of friendship among the inhabitants of Houston\, and provide musical education and appreciation. \nThis event\, will be held at the Looscan Public Library in the city of Houston\, on July 6\, 2024. \nVISIT OUR PROGRAMS HERE \n
